Recently my youngest daughter was asking me about the candy I liked as a kid. Sometimes that just leads to creating a dessert inspired by candy of childhood. I remember trying a Baci for the first time and thinking we got the short end of the stick with Hershey Kisses, but oh well. Almond hazelnut meringue cake is layered with dark chocolate hazelnut mousse, then dipped in milk chocolate with chopped hazelnuts. Vanilla chantilly, roasted hazelnuts, and gianduja chocolate curls round out the top with just enough space left for a Baci!
