If you have been to lucettegrace at various times of the year you are probably familiar with the baklava croissant as it has graced us with its presence for almost eight years, with some time off for good behavior of course. Croissants are cut in half and toasted, soaked with honey syrup flavored with orange peel, cinnamon, and orange blossom. We then fill the croissant with a pistachio, walnut, and almond cream before replacing the top and baking it a second time. It is pretty much what I live for and the aroma that comes from the oven is worth waking up at 4am, sometimes.
