The GAY Bar is a cake I created in anticipation of opening lucettegrace and we have been making it to help celebrate Pride month every year. Over the years there have been slight variations, sometimes gluten free, sometimes not. This year we decided to go with the original. $1 from each cake sold will be donated at the end of June to The LGBT Center of Raleigh. Oh about the cake, it’s one of my favorites. It starts with brown butter almond sponge cake, a crunchy milk chocolate hazelnut praline wafer, and dark chocolate praline mousse. Each cake is sprayed with dark chocolate and celebrated with the colors of the rainbow.
