I am a firm believer that no matter how crazy things are in the world, it is still important to share moments with the ones we love. For me, I like to do that with desserts, maybe with coffee, maybe at a park, maybe after a family dinner, but shared with the ones I love and that mean so much to me. My daughter and it seems many of you love lemon tarts. While this is a dessert we often have on the menu, never have we done one so bare bones. Classic French almond shortbread, super creamy lemon cream made with fresh pressed lemons and plenty of lemon zest. Adorned only with a little sliver of candied lemon peel that we of course make ourselves!
