We started making these semi-classic cinnamon buns on the weekends over the summer and they were so well received we added them to the daily mix, but I refuse to change the name. We make ours with a light orange scented brioche rolled with dark brown sugar and cinnamon. I think the combination of dark brown sugar, orange zest, and a not very sweet dough combine with cream cheese frosting to make a really delicious cinnamon bun that won’t make you regret eating it later.
