If there were ever a match made in heaven it might be chocolate and nuts, or caramel and nuts, or caramel and chocolate. I guess it doesn’t make for a monogamous relationship, but when you combine caramel, nuts, and chocolate, oh my! Then add in some salted buttery shortbread! Islands in the Stream consists of said buttery salted shortbread, flourless chocolate cake, light caramel cream, and brown butter roasted pecans, hazelnuts, and pistachios.
